Gandalf Distribution becomes authorised Nordic distributor for KAxFREE
The partnership introduces a new generation of smart and user-friendly coffee machines to Nordic retailers
Stockholm, 2026-10-13 – Gandalf Distribution AB, part of ELKO Group and one of the Nordic region’s leading distributors of IT, consumer electronics and small domestic appliances, announces that it has become an authorised distributor for KAxFREE in the Nordic region.
The partnership expands Gandalf Distribution’s growing portfolio within small domestic appliances and marks an important step into the Nordic coffee market. Through the agreement, Gandalf will make KAxFREE’s smart coffee and espresso machines available to retailers and partners across the region.
KAxFREE develops connected coffee machines designed to make high-quality espresso and coffee easier to prepare at home. The brand is owned by Kalerm, an established manufacturer of commercial coffee machines with extensive experience in professional coffee solutions.
Building on that experience, KAxFREE combines coffee technology with intuitive interfaces, connected functionality and guided preparation. The objective is to make a more advanced coffee experience accessible to consumers without making the process unnecessarily complicated.
Technology meets the home coffee experience
Consumers are showing a growing interest in products that bring café-quality experiences into the home. At the same time, convenience, personalization and ease of use remain important purchasing factors.
KAxFREE addresses these demands by giving consumers greater control over their coffee while simplifying the preparation process. The machines are aimed at users who want to move beyond traditional filter coffee and discover espresso-based drinks without the learning curve normally associated with professional equipment.

The agreement with KAxFREE is part of Gandalf’s continued investment in this category and introduces a coffee brand with a clear connection between consumer technology and everyday convenience.
